to continue to do good."
The Beaufort County Developmental Center Endowment
Fund is a component fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
The establishment of this endowment enables BCDC to receive important
financial support from its many contributors by providing a source for
permanent funding through the endowment. The Endowment allows BCDC to
be less dependent on governmental funding and will aid in the ongoing
operation of our many programs. Through the partnership with the North
Carolina Community Foundation, donors can make gifts of real estate,
securities, life insurance policies and IRA distributions all to benefit BCDC. Although the Endowment makes the giving of non-cash gifts easier,
any donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated by over 300 citizens
of Beaufort County who are served by BCDC programs.
